It appears that Crayola Toys are here to stay; after all, Crayola toys have been top selling toys since Crayola introduced the first crayons in 1903. The first box of Crayola crayons sold for a nickel and it contained eight crayons in the colors black, brown, orange, violet, blue, green, red and yellow.

Crayola crayons allowed children to express their artistic ability and provided hours of entertainment; however, Crayola toys have come along way since 1903. Crayola coloring books and crayons were a big hit for years, but children now have endless choices of different types of Crayola toys, art sets and games to choose from. Who would have ever thought that crayons would lead to so many top selling Crayola toys?

Crayola Crayons and Coloring Sets

Crayola crayons now come in a multitude of colors; 120 to be exact! There are infinite new coloring books being made all the time for children to practice coloring. Coloring sets of crayons and coloring books sold together have also become trendy over the years. Disney and other characters that are adored by children can be found in Crayola coloring books.

There are Many Kinds of Crayola Art Sets

Children have always loved Crayola art sets and now they include so much more than just crayons. Many of the activity sets contain washable paints, chalk, colored dough, magic or glitter markers, erasable self-sharpening colored pencils, or decals. These Crayola art sets can be found with 3-D art, outdoor supplies, dry erase boards, color wonder paper and so much more.

Crayola Software Games are Very Popular

Crayola has software games that are quite entertaining and there are countless different types. The Crayola 3D Castle creator, Crayola Make a Masterpiece, Crayola Magic Wardrobe and Crayola Art Studio are just a few of the numerous Crayola software games available for children.

There are a vast amount of different kinds of Crayola toys available for children of all ages including: body art kits, easels, dolls, teddy bears and stuffed animals, paint sprayers, costumes, jewelry and digital camcorders. The assorted kinds of Crayola toys being made are simply never-ending.

Not only are Crayola toys exciting and fun for children, the majority of them have educational benefits. They stimulate the mind by allowing children to express themselves with art. Even with all the competition, it is easy to see why Crayola toys have continued to be top selling toys throughout many, many years.
